Day 3
Day 3/Meal 1 -Ginger Cookies, Caramel Popcorn, and Ben and Jerry's Caramel Hat Trick Ice Cream
So I woke up on Friday morning, and the initial plan was to make a roast beef sandwich with the previous nights leftovers. I didn't feel like that. We did however load up an amazing treats I REALLY wanted to eat, so I opted for Caramel Corn, Ginger cookies and Ben and Jerry's Caramel Hat Trick icecream. I was really proud of myself, because I ate when hungry... I ate 3 cookies, a couple of handfuls of popcorn, and literally just skimmed the top layer of the icecream. In the past... there would have been no reason for not binge eating literally all three of these items to completion. But I didn't do that. It was hard to stop, but I told myself that it was okay, and I could eat more later if I wanted to.
Day 3/Meal 2 -Pepperoni Pizza
This pizza is from a cute little local place -- and I would only eat on cheat days, because I have NO idea how many points it is. It's a medium pepperoni pizza, but it's more the size of a small pizza. For comparison, I usually eat 4 pieces of a true medium pizza. For this pizza, I ate 3.5 pieces. To be honest, I was no longer hungry after 2 pieces, on track to be uncomfortably full at 3 pieces, and the .5 was because I just wanted one more bite. At the time I didn't feel uncomfortably full, but I was, going later on into the evening.
Day 3/Meal 3- My last meal of the day was later on at night. I ate the same as above. I handful of caramel popcorn, 3 cookies, and a little bit more icecream. I ate until just uncomfortably full again. But I was so proud of myself because that Ben and Jerry's? There is still 3/4 left in there!! And I hate eaten from it TWICE now! Usually I finish it in one go. Surprisingly, that Ben and Jerry's is not calling my name that loud during this experience.
Over all - I was happy with how this day went, yes I did eat a little bit too much but I did not let myself feel deprived and I ate what I wanted.
